{"id":2395,"date":"2026-05-14T13:38:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T12:38:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gemse.org\/?p=2395"},"modified":"2026-05-15T05:35:54","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T04:35:54","slug":"einladung-zu-retreats-rest-is-restistance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gemse.org\/en\/einladung-zu-retreats-rest-is-restistance\/","title":{"rendered":"Invitation to Retreats &#8211; Rest is Resistance!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As Spring is in full bloom, we at Gemse, are warming up the space and our hearts to welcome you to a space to rest, regenerate and refuel for the constant movements in the world which move us.<\/p>\n<p>Taking our learnings from last year, we have come to re-design the format of these retreats to respond to different groups\/individuals&#8217; needs and track our own resources to be able to hold space for care and rest for others. We offer three formats, with varying degrees of flexibility, hosting resources and structural support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is this for?<br \/>\n<\/strong>For people who are affected by and\/or have to deal with issues of inequality and power dynamics. Since we are addressing anti-racism and white privilege, we are explicitly inviting BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color).<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1) Hosted retreats on fixed dates<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; These would be a fixed week of retreat offered every alternate month where the groups can expect a host from Gemse to support\/organise\/ for the entire week. Accommodation, travel expenses (400 Euros max.), and food expenses (300 Euros max.) are paid by GemSe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) Assisted group retreats<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; These would be a retreat week (or less) co-designed with the groups including flexibility of dates, structure of the week and what kind of hosting the group would want from Gemse. Accommodation, travel expenses (400 Euros max.), and food expenses (300 Euros max.) are paid by GemSe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3) Non-hosted (or basic hosting) individual retreats<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; These format is offered all year round on flexible dates for individuals.
