What can you expect?
After launching this format in 2024, we would like to offer it again in 2025 following a fabulous weekend. We will gather strength before the dark season and focus on sustainable activism, resilience, and burnout prevention. The energy workshop will also include short hikes in the surrounding area and time in the November forest.

Where? Gailtal (Wertschach 15, Verein GemSe – Gemeinsam Sein)

Course fee
Costs for the hike depending on financial possibilities €145 / €185 / €220. You can find more information about the price scale HERE. Costs for accommodation & meals: flat rate of €190. We are at Gemse and we will cook breakfast and dinner for you, mostly organic, vegan, and vegetarian!

The GemSe Collective mourns the loss of Dani

The GemSe Collective mourns the loss of Dani, our friend and companion in dreaming and living a loving, friendly, just, and joyful world.

Dani passed away on October 12, 2025, after a tragic accident at the hospital in Ljubljana.

Wherever Dani was,
the network sun shone
in its most dazzling colors.
For everyone.
Always.

Dani, with ease, laughter, connection, love for animals, mountains, and nature, with understanding, wit, and laughter again and again, with a clear commitment to a more just world, enriching and helping to shape the GemSe community.

Thank you for the TIN* conversations. And for your encouragement to strive for us all to be even better off. But above all, for courageously showing us how to take the plunge.

Dani, we will miss you! We miss you! We will carry on everything you brought and created into the world!

Unsichtbar? Unaufhaltsam! presents queer history and stories in Carinthia and the Alps-Adriatic region – from persecution under the Nazis to Pride movements and contemporary initiatives. An exhibition about visibility, resistance and community.

Rückblick: Herbstfest und Soliparty

Es war wunderbar! Danke an alle!
Rückblickend ein paar Eindrücke vom Fest in Bildern und ein Hinweis auf die Ausstellungseröffnung in der Galerie im frisch eröffneten frei:räumchen.

Übergabe eines Geschenks, das mit Unterschriften und Luftballons verziert ist.

Kat, Mika, Lux und Lie halten ein Schild mit der Aufschrift Queerinthia/Queeroška.

Die Bühne im Festsaal während einer Ansprache.

Eine Gruppe von alten, jungen, kleinen, großen, Menschen mit und ohne Rollstuhl im Festsaal.

Verkauf von bunten Kappen am Soli-Merch-Verkaufsstand zu je 20-25 Euro.

Akrobatische Performance von der Gruppe ConTakt.

Drei Personen stehen in dem als Bar eingerichteten neuen Lift.

Festival-Schild an der Straße, im Hintergrund ein riesiger Kürbis in einer Scheibtruhe und das Ortsschild Queerinthia/Queeroška.

Eine Person kauft etwas am Soli-Merch-Verkaufsstand.
